About Medina
Medina is a city located in the Eastside, an affluent region of King County, Washington and a part of the Seattle metropolitan area. Surrounded on the north, west, and south by Lake Washington, opposite Seattle, Medina is bordered by Clyde Hill and Hunts Point, as well as the satellite city of Bellevue. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 3,011. The city is mostly residential and home to many of the wealthiest people in the greater Seattle area, including Microsoft chairman Bill Gates.
Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Medina ranks 2nd of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked. |
